Cubs fans flock to Walt's in Homewood to see Anthony Rizzo

There was a lot of blue in the long line stretching from the south doorway past the end of the building at Walt's Food Center on 183rd Street in Homewood on Monday. Cubs fans came decked out in caps, T-shirts, jersies and, in one case, tattoos with the team colors to show their support as they waited to get autographs from first baseman Anthony Rizzo.

The event from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. was hosted by Walt's and sponsored by Pepsi-Cola.

been in line an hour just before noon, but the wait was
worth it for a chance to meet Anthony Rizzo.
