About 600 customers in the Homewood-Flossmoor area are without power Tuesday afternoon, according to the ComEd website.
The four outage areas include the area of Evans and Gardiner, Hutchison Road and Collet Lane, and Brumley Drive in Flossmoor and one on Clyde Terrace in Homewood.
The cause of two outages — the one near Hutchison and Collet and the one on Brumley — are under investigation. The other two are attributed to severe weather. A rain storm moved through the area about 1:30 p.m.
Power is expected to be restored by 5:30 p.m.
