Authors to discuss writing process at PWN luncheon

What Is Your Story? An accomplished panel of published authors will discuss how they found their story at the annual Professional Women’s Network Smart Chicks Luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 8.

The event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Balagio, 17501 Dixie Highway in Homewood.

Panelists include Sara Eckel, author of “It’s Not You: 27 (Wrong) Reasons You’re Single”; Wendy Sand Eckel, author of “Educating Tiger” and “Murder at Barclay Meadow: A Mystery”; Flossmoor resident Amy Sue Nathan, who wrote “Glass Wives” and “The Good Neighbor”; and Jenniffer Weigel, author of “Stay Tuned,” “I’m Spiritual Dammit,” and “This Is Not The Life I Ordered.”

Local published author Kim Olver, who wrote “Secrets of Happy Couples” and “Leveraging Diversity at Work,” is the moderator for the event.

Books will be offered for purchase and the authors will be available for book signings beginning at 11 a.m.

Discounts are available for pre-luncheon registrants and for those purchasing a table for eight. Information is at pwcentral.com.
