Homewood-Flossmoor High School’s girls basketball team continued its winning ways Thursday, Feb. 16, by taking the regional round of the state championship series with a 84-24 victory over Bloom High School.
In an earlier regional game on Feb. 14, the Vikings defeated Thornwood 77-28. The regional games were played at H-F.
H-F now moves to the sectional round, which will start at 6 p.m. Feb. 21 at Shepard High School in Palos Heights. The team plays Mother McAuley High School, the winner of the Stagg regional.
