LWV program looks at women presidential candidates

The Homewood-Flossmoor Area League of Women Voters is presenting a 6:30 p.m. program on Wednesday, March 15, on the history of women attempting to serve as U.S. president.
 
The free program is part of the group’s monthly meeting at the Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway.
 
“Victoria Woodall to Hillary Clinton: the History of Female Presidential Candidates” will be the topic of the presentation by Sandra M. Frink. She will be focusing on the history of women in politics, specifically on women’s attempts at being elected president.
