Tuesday, Jan. 10, will be the official opening day for Homewood’s Krispy Kreme Doughnuts shop, 17815 Halsted St.
The opening celebration at 7:30 a.m. will feature the Homewood-Flossmoor High School Viking Band, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8 a.m.
The Homewood store will have both 24-hour drive-thru service and indoor seating and feature more than a dozen varieties of doughnuts.
