Juvenile justice specialist is Feb. 21 speaker

The League of Women Voters Homewood Flossmoor Area (LWV HF), a nonpartisan political organization, welcomes Linda Young-Harrell as the speaker for a Feb. 21 program on “Criminal Justice and the Juvenile.”

The program is at 7 p.m. at the Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway.
Young-Harrell has, over a career of more than three decades, been an educator, an appellate law clerk, an attorney and now is a teacher for students in the juvenile justice system. She will share her experiences, insight and vision for a more effective and proactive juvenile system.
