2017 in review

The year 2017 is history.

It was a busy year in Homewood and Flossmoor. We had hotly contested local elections. A few businesses left or failed. More new businesses arrived. New school administrators settled into their jobs.

The Chronicle covered the life of our community by sending reporters to local government meetings, to festivals, to fundraisers and to other events. They interviewing people, young and old, who had interesting stories to tell about their lives and work.

If you want to get a sense for what 2017 was like in H-F, take a look back at the digital versions of our print editions.

Please take another look at the advertisements, too. The businesses advertising in the Chronicle make it possible for us to publish regularly online and in print, to keep you informed about what's going on in our community. We appreciate their support and hope you do, too.

Note: Because we shifted our publication schedule from the third Thursday to the first of each month, we did not publish a print edition in January 2017.
