Summer Theatre at H-F High presents 'Big the Musical TYA' July 19 and 20

Students in grades 2 through 12 participating in summer theater at Homewood-Flossmoor High School will conclude the session with three performances of “Big the Musical,” the theater for young audiences version.
 
Performances will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday, July 20, in the Mall Auditorium in H-F’s South Building. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students, children and senior citizens.
 
The musical is based on the book by John Weiddman and the 20th Century Fox film that starred Tom Hanks as Josh Baskin, a kid who wishes he’d become “big,” and magically his wish comes true. The role of Josh is shared by Brandon Eddy and Darrow Richmond. Jill Bonavia-Galligani, H-F English and fine arts teacher, is directing the production.
 
Cast members are: Morgan Barber, Barbara Burns, Max Cichon, Bill Colton, Ariel Davis, Brandon Eddy, Andrew Heligas, Breanna Jackson, Isabella Jackson, Ava Jones, Laila London, Audrey Mandichak, Cameron Massatt.
 
Jannah Nance, Mia Napue, Kamryn Nelson, Noelle Oh, Darrow Richmond, Jada Seaton, Greta Schmidt, Audrey Simmons, Isaiah Simmons, Cameryn Tarver, Dillon Taylor, Kevin Thompson, Ellie Wojcikowski.
 
The adult chorus, which includes cast members, are: Teagan Bednarek, Barbara Burns, Max Cichon, Bill Colton, Ariel Davis, Andrew Heligas, Camryn Humble, Breanna Jackson, Isabella Jackson, Laila London, Dillon Taylor, Aubrey Mandichak, Khai Nance, Mia Napue, Noelle Oh, Greta Schmidt, Jada Seaton, Audrey Simmons, Isaiah Simmons, Ellie Wojcikowski, Kayla Worley and Cameryn Tarver.
 
Serving in the kid chorus are: Morgan Barber, Justin Barnett, Amelia Bruni, Brandon Eddy, Caleb Eddy, Daniel Garrity, Joie Gilbert, Morgan Kimmons, Sydni Leverson, Cameron Massatt, Flannery Marak, Anaya Mootry, Kamryn Nelson, Logan Nelson and Lilia Zamkin.
