Coyote Run garden tour is Wednesday

Dave Ward, superintendent of golf at Coyote Run Golf Course, 800 Kedzie Ave., will share insights on the native prairie plants around the course in a two-hour tour starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18.

The date was changed to July 18 from what was published in the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District's brochure.

Since the park district redesigned the course in 2004, Ward and his team have worked to develop areas that support native plants to draw birds, pollinators and other insects.

The informative walk covers about three-quarters of a mile.  This is a free program. The walk will begin at the clubhouse.
