Get a sticker for the Splash Pad

The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District’s new Splash Pad is expected to open July 1.  The bubbling fountain is designed for children ages 10 and younger.

The Splash Pad will be open from 10 a.m. to noon, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. each day weather permitting, and if the temperature is above 74 degrees.

H-F Park District residents have free access to the Splash Pad but need to provide residency documentation through a driver’s license, utility bill or tax bill. Those with a current pool pass or H-F Racquet & Fitness Club photo ID can get a Splash Pad sticker added to the photo ID already issued.

Stickers are free at the fitness club, 2920 W. 183rd St. in Homewood; Irwin Park Community Center, 18120 Highland Ave. in Homewood; or Goldberg Center, 3301 Flossmoor Road, Flossmoor.

Non-residents will be charged a $5 fee per child, per session to use the Splash Pad. The park district offers 10 passes for a discounted price of $45. The passes are sold at Goldberg Center or the Irwin Community Center.

Groups of 15 or more must have a permit to use the Splash Pad. For details, contact the H-F Park District office at 708-957-0300 or visit hfparks.com.
