The board will also consider a request to support a class 8 property tax relief designation for a proposed cigar lounge and restaurant at 18237 Kedzie Ave.
The agenda also includes:
- Appointments and reappointments to the village Community Relations Committee, Appearance Committee and Economic Development Committee.
- An application to the Illinois Department of Transportation to designate Western Avenue from 183rd Street to Heather Road as a Federal Aid Urban route, which if granted would enable the village to apply for federal funding for maintaining the road.
- Replacement of 67 leased computers.
- Purchase two vehicles for the Fire Department.
- A bid for the village’s sticker-free leaf pickup program.
- Purchase of four mowers for the Public Works Department.
- A bid for sand blasting and painting fire hydrants.
The board will meet at 7 p.m. in the meeting room of village hall, 2020 Chestnut Road.
