Homewood Arts Council to host pub crawl fundraiser Thursday

Homewood Arts Council will host its second annual Ho Ho Homewood holiday pub crawl from 7 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, to help raise money for the non-profit organization.

Participants will meet at Bottle & Bottega in Homewood, 2009 Ridge Road, from 6:30 to 7 p.m. to sign in and receive drink tickets.

Dubbed a Festivus-for-the-Rest-of-Us event, borrowing a term from former TV show “Seinfeld,” the event will include stops at Fifth Quarter, 18105 Dixie Highway, from 7 to 8 p.m.; Copper Still, 1961 Ridge Road, from 8 to 9 p.m.; and Grape & Grain, 18031 Dixie Highway, from 9 to 10 p.m.

Tickets are $30 and include three free drinks and pizza, plus an official HAC event tumbler.

Organizers invite participants to “don your best holiday costumes, strap on your favorite elf ears or reindeer antlers” to help get in a festive spirit.

Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. Registration is limited to the first 100 signups.
