Calyn Brumley honored as a top Marian Catholic graduate

Calyn Brumley of Flossmoor was selected as one of the top graduates in the Class of 2019 at Marian Catholic High School.
 
From the class of 263 graduates, she was one of the 11 named as top students. This class had two students share honors as co-valedictorians. The commencement ceremony was May 20 at the Tinley Park Convention Center.
 
Brumley was recognized for her many academic achievements. She took honors geometry and biology courses as an eighth grader, then took 20 honors or advanced placement courses during her four years at Marian.
 
Brumley was a member of the varsity softball team for three years, a school tutor and helped organize a winter clothing drive for the needy.
 
Other Marian graduates from Flossmoor are Patrick Cavarretta, Caroline DiLuia, Jaya Hall, Erin Kelly and Jacob Klupchak.
 
Marian graduates from Homewood are Anthony Armendariz, Kendal Johnson, Elijah Long, Mary Katherine Lynch, Connor Teeter and Nolan Way.
