A residence was damaged late at night on Wednesday, May 1, when someone apparently shot at it, Homewood police said. Around 11 p.m., Homewood police officers responded to a report of gunshots being fired in the 2800 block of Chayes Park Drive.

Around 11 p.m., Homewood police officers responded to a report of gunshots being fired in the 2800 block of Chayes Park Drive.
Responding officers found a residence that had damage to a rear window, which police said appeared to be from the discharge of a firearm. No one was injured as a result of the gunshot.
