Special recreation association hiring for several positions

South Suburban Special Recreation Association (SSSRA), which services residents in the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District, is in need of part-time employees for several of its programs. SSSRA offers recreation for special needs persons ages 2 through adult who participate in programs as varied as music and drama to Special Olympics and recreation programs.

SSSRA offers recreation for special needs persons ages 2 through adult who participate in programs as varied as music and drama to Special Olympics and recreation programs.
 
“In addition to SSSRA’s own programming, individuals can participate in park district and recreation department programs with the assistance of an inclusion aide,” said Anna Broccolo, public relations manager for SSSRA. 
 
Persons interested in working for SSSRA will help fill inclusion aide positions for before school programs in Homewood and Flossmoor areas. The aides must be 16 or older to apply or have a work permit.
 
SSSRA also needs recreation leaders for weekly programs and special events throughout the SSSRA service area.
 
SSSRA also is looking for drivers. Qualified persons will be 21 or older with a valid driver’s license and a completed driver abstract.
