Testing for Hiring List Announcement
The Village of Homewood, IL will hold a written examination on Saturday, June 23, 2018 to establish a two-year full-time hiring list for Firefighter/Paramedics. The starting salary for Firefighter/Paramedics is $54,173 plus benefits.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have U.S. citizenship, be at least 21 years of age and under 35 years of age at the time of the written examination (unless exempt from age limitation according to state law), have a high school diploma, and possess a CPAT card and Ladder Climb certification by the written test date of June 23, 2018.
Applicants with Firefighter Certifications and/or EMT-B or EMT-P are also highly encouraged to apply.
Applications are only available for pickup at the Homewood Police Department, 17950 Dixie Highway. There is a $10 fee for the application that comes with a NFST study guide.
Applicants must return the completed application and copies of required certifications by 5 p.m. on June 23, 2018, to the Homewood Police Department, 17950 Dixie Highway, Homewood, IL 60430. (EOE)
