Help wanted: Part-time Code Compliance Officer, Village of Homewood

Village of Homewood seeks to hire a part-time Code Compliance Officer.

Duties include inspecting properties for code violations, issuing violation notices, issuing citations, gathering violation evidence, representing village interests in court, working with and educating property owners to resolve violations.

Minimum Requirements: HS diploma/GED, prefer ICCA certification/equivalent or obtain within 1 year of hire; proficient in MS Office applications & office technology.
