Five mixologists meet the challenge for the Homewood Science Center

Five mixologists showed how to combine the art and science of a perfect cocktail at the Homewood Science Center’s Cocktail Chemistry Challenge July 19. There was something for every taste from the five who concocted “The Citrus Horizon” for The Copper Still; “Broken Barrel of Funk” for The Cottage on Dixie; “The Science Center” for Grape & Grain; “S’More What?” for La Voute Bar + Bistro; and “Flashing Palumbas” for Lassen's Sports Bar & Grill.

Homewood Science Center (HSC) unveiled its plans for a summer fundraiser  this one for adults only  the Cocktail Chemistry Challenge on Thursday, July 19, at the center, 18022 Dixie Highway.

Kids can learn chemical reactions Sept. 16 at Homewood Science Center

The Homewood Science Center’s “Ready, Set, Experiment!” Pop-Up Science Program on Saturday, Sept. 16, will give kids the chance to learn through doing.
 
This program runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the science center, 18022 Dixie Highway.
