Chamber of Commerce heads up 3-village holiday charity effort

The Homewood Area Chamber of Commerce (HACC),  in cooperation with the villages of Homewood, Flossmoor and Glenwood, will conduct a charitable drive to support three local groups this holiday season. 

Business & Brews offers a chance for business networking Oct. 23

People like to do business with people they know, and two area business groups are providing an opportunity for businesspeople to get acquainted with each other and sip on fine craft brews at the same time.

New president brings new energy to local chamber

The Homewood Area Chamber of Commerce (HACC) is gearing up for an exciting summer of events, according to President Rodney Young. Elected president in January, Young is bursting with energy and is filled with plans to increase the impact of the HACC in Homewood, Flossmoor and Glenwood.
 

Artists welcome to apply for juried art fair

Artists have until April 10 to apply for the juried art contest, part of the 2017 Fine Arts Fair hosted by the Homewood Area Chamber of Commerce.
 
The works will be on display at the fair on June 3 and 4 in downtown Flossmoor. All works must be original and will be judged on the quality of craftsmanship, use of media, concept, design and originality.

In December 2015 we began monthly print publication, too. Our mission is to chronicle the life of our community — news by, for, and about the people of Homewood and Flossmoor, Illinois.
