On Saturday, June 1, the Lions Club Pool will officially open for the season. The Millennium Park Splash Pad opens Memorial Day, May 27, weather permitting.

Lions Pool gets new system for automatic chlorine levels

This summer an automated control system will allow staff to set and monitor chlorine levels at Lions Club Pool.
 

Cost for Lions Club Pool work comes in under budget

The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District came up with a way to save nearly $100,000 in its budget and still get the Lions Club pool in great shape for next season.

To the pleasant surprise of park district commissioners at their Tuesday, Nov. 15, meeting, a bid for replacing the pool’s filtration system came in way below cost estimates.
