Park district looks for residents’ feedback, insights in 2019

What do the parks and park programs mean to you?

The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District will be asking those and other questions in 2019 through various surveys to be conducted by PROS Consulting, a firm that specializes in park district information. Commissioners approved a $31,455 contract with the firm at the Oct. 16 park board meeting.

Help spruce up H-F parks on Park Pride Day May 7

If you can spare an hour or two come out May 7 to help get the parks in Homewood and Flossmoor in shape through the Park Pride Day program.

Park Pride Day Saturday will get parks ready for summer activities

H-F parks are busy places during the summer months, and it's a big job to get them ready for action. The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District’s 29th annual Park Pride Day is a community-wide volunteer clean-up that started in 1987 to help get the parks ready for summer.
