The Homewood Board of Trustees welcomed new Economic and Community Development Director Tom Vander Woude to the village staff Tuesday, July 14, but his hiring was also a matter of contention for one trustee.

Homewood police and partner agencies will hold critical incident drill Tuesday at Willow School

Flossmoor resident wins award for service to LGBTQ community

Flossmoor resident Mallory Price is a 2015 winner of the annual 30 Under 30 award from Windy City Times. The publication established the award to honor men and women under the age of 30 who have made substantial contributions to the Chicago area’s LGBTQ community.
