Homewood Public Library hosts veterans benefits fair Saturday

After serving in the military, veterans and their families are entitled to various benefits. 

The Homewood Public Library is hosting a veterans benefits fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, with organizations that can provide information on veterans’ opportunities and benefits.

Representatives will be available to answer questions and provide assistance for veterans regarding their benefits, including issues such as medical needs, education, employment support and outreach efforts.

Organizations at the fair will be Chicago Heights Vet Center, Chicago Heights Veterans Clinic, Governors State University, Homewood Veterans Committee, Illinois Department of Employment Security, Illinois Military Kids, Pets For Vets Chicagoland, Prairie State College, Saint Xavier University, Wally Burns Homewood VFW Post 8077, and the Wounded Warriors Project.
