The Homewood Public Library is hosting its second annual One-Minute Movie Festival scheduled for 7 p.m. June 29 at the library, 19717 Dixie Highway.

“Creativity is the key,” said Kelly Campos of the Homewood Library staff. “Last year’s winners proved you can do some interesting presentations in 60 seconds.” The 2016 videos are at https://youtu.be/4_WIffNwZzM

Projects will be submitted in various categories: families, youth, teen, new adult and adult. Participate must live, work or have family in Homewood or its surrounding area. Videos can be any type, style or genre, but they must be suitable for all ages.

The winning entry in each category will receive a $25 gift card. The winning videos will become part of the library’s DVD collection.

The deadline for submissions is June 10. Entry rules are available on the Homewood Library website www.homewoodlibrary.org.
