DECK THE HALLS – Join Flossmoor Community Church as members celebrate the beginning of Advent and decorate the grounds for the Christmas season. They will be decorating our trees, hanging garland and wreaths, and illuminating the grounds. 11 a.m. Sunday
HOLIDAY IN FLOSSMOOR – Celebrate the start of the holiday season in Flossmoor on Saturday. Starting at 3 p.m., kids can visit with Santa Claus, enjoy hot cocoa and cookies at Flossmoor Library. Then at 5:30 p.m., follow Santa and a parade of carolers to Flossmoor Park for the annual tree lighting. Nightly lighting of the Hanukkah menorah in the park is at 4:30 p.m. Sunday to Dec. 6.
