DIA DE LOS MUERTOS – The Village of Homewood hosts its inaugural Day of the Dead Fest (Dia de los Muertos) on from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday on Martin Avenue Square. Visitors will enjoy music, food and a showing of the movie “Coco” beginning at dusk.

FALL ART WORKSHOP – Spaces are still available for H-F Park District’s Fall Art Workshop, from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Irwin Center. This three-hour class for children 6 to 12 is open to all skill levels and all supplies are included. Register for $30.

WATCH FOR WALKERS – Cheer on costume-clad participants in Cancer Support Center’s Pink-a-Boo Walk of Hope, starting at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the CSC parking lot. Be aware that walkers will be in downtown Homewood throughout morning.
