Registration is open for the Little Vikings Preschool sponsored by Homewood-Flossmoor High School.
The program is for children ages 3, 4 and 5 and potty trained. Three-year-olds must have their birthday before Sept. 1, 2021. Class meets from 8:50 to 11:20 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Oct. 19 through May 17, in the H-F North Building.
Children can be signed up for fall and spring semesters. There is a $180 per semester fee that includes a child’s daily supplies, snack, special occasion crafts/celebrations and a T-shirt.
The program curriculum includes social studies, math, art, music, science, physical education and other activities appropriate for preschool kids. The H-F junior/senior level child development class is supervised by teacher Courtney Pesha. The class focuses on children’s growth and development, as well as direct interactions with children through the preschool sessions.
