HELP THE FARMERS MARKET - Volunteers are needed for Homewood Farmers Market, to staff the market entrance and assist customers and vendors. All ages are welcome; parental permission required those under 16.

Each volunteer is asked to stay for at least two hours. The market is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays from May 8 to Oct. 9. Email [email protected] with your available dates and times.

FREEZE WARNING - Forecasts call for snow today, ending before 7 p.m. Also, a freeze warning is in place for tonight, which could compromise outdoor plants if not protected. Don't worry -- we should see 60s by Friday and 70s by next week.

PUT ON YOUR SHOPPING SHOES - Homewood Farmers Market reopens May 8 with a limit of 60 customers allowed at any one time. Customers must wear masks, and abide by sanitization and social distancing guidelines.
